If you are an NGO, charity, business or organisation who works with, supports or has an interest in preventing violence against women and girls, this event is for you.
We’ll examine four key areas, hear from keynote speakers and learn about best practice ideas and tools we can apply to make Surrey safer.
You will come away with an understanding of what is already happening across Surrey, information on areas that still need improvement and, critically, meet a network of influencers you can work with, together with a toolkit of ideas and actions to help make further improvements in our area.
Speakers Include:
Dame Alison Saunders DCB, Former Director of Public Prosecutions, Crown Prosecution Service
Councillor Denise Turner-Stewart, Deputy Leader, Surrey County Council
Sarah Mullen, Former Chair, Respect
Lisa Townsend, Surrey Policy and Crime Commissioner
Chris Green OBE, Founder, White Ribbon, Co-Founder Male Allies Challenging Sexism
Gill Kirkman, None in Three
Caroline Hill, Surrey Police Stalking Adviser
Christine Corless, Soroptimist and Lead on Specialist Domestic Abuse Courts Report
