About this Event

This workshop is aimed at children aged 10 and above.

Explore the science behind baking with a hands-on workshop at Hamblin. Harness the power of chemistry and biology in making bread rise and consider what it means for something to be alive. You might even be able to take home the results of your investigative work!

This is a two-session workshop with only 10 spaces available. Please book a ticket only for the participant —one accompanying adult is included in the ticket. The workshops will take place on Monday, 27 October then on Tuesday, 28 October 2025 (10-11.30 am both days).

This workshop is aimed at children aged 10 and above.
