Join Myoutdoorjoy on our Free weekly group walks, as we explore nature and the greenways in Charlotte and Mecklenburg county. Each week, MyOutdoorJoy hosts a fun, relaxing, destress walk that allows us to mentally and physically decompress. Our walks are just as much conversation as they are walks.
The Greenway walks are generally 45 minutes, just enough time to benefit from the positive health effects of nature and explore Charlotte awesome green spaces. We walk on different greenways every 4-6 weeks to explore not only different walkways but the different ecosystems as well from deer and chipmunks on some greenways to a variety of flowers on another.
This segment of greenways will be Irwin Creek, which is paved and wheelchair friendly. NO PETS ALLOWED. Family Friendly Event. Please meet our guide at the Greenway sign located in the parking lot of the Revolutionary Park building.
Click the link/ ticket to register. Though it is a free event series, we prefer to know who we should be expecting which is why we ask for registration to ensure we don't leave someone behind.
