About the Contact Representative position
As a Contact Representative, you will provide over-the-phone technical assistance to individuals and businesses throughout the country. You will apply the tax code while addressing a wide range of issues to assist taxpayers in understanding and meeting their tax responsibilities and ensure compliance with filing and payment of federal tax.
Qualification Requirements
One year of specialized customer service experience (e.g., collection agency, telemarketing, sales) is required to qualify. However, a bachelor's degree (or combination of experience and education) can be substituted for specialized experience requirement.
These entry level positions do not require you to have prior tax experience. Our top-notch training programs will teach you everything you need to know to prepare you to be successful in these positions.
Shift Availability
We will be offering full-time (Mon - Fri), seasonal positions on swing shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm). Our "seasons" typically lasts 6-8 months or longer and provide the stability of returning to your position each year.
Telework Eligibility
While these positions may be telework eligible, employees must meet and sustain IRS telework requirements to participate in the IRS Telework Program. You may be required to report to the office for the duration of training.
