Calling all Volunteers!WRRC are again running Transition 2 (T2) at this year's fifteenth anniversary Ironman 70.3 North Carolina. T2 Captain, Rob Ward is putting together a crack team of volunteers and needs your help! Race day is Saturday October 19th 2024 and we have two shifts available both on the Cape Fear Community Center parking lot in downtown Wilmington
Transition 2 Volunteers 8.30am-1pm. Main duties- manning all entrance and exits to T2, assisting/ cheering athletes through their transition from bike to run
Transition 2 Volunteers/ Bike check out-1pm-6pm Main duties- facilitating bike check out as athletes collect their bikes after the event

The Ironman Foundation give a sizeable grant check to the Road Runners each year for coordinating and staffing the transition point and we are excited to share that the race is already SOLD OUT. All volunteers receive a parking pass for a reserved volunteer lot and volunteer t-shirt. Come join the fun!
