Iron Roses 2025 is a one-rep max deadlift competition designed exclusively for women and non-binary athletes. This event is all about strength, resilience, and empowerment—whether you're a first-time competitor or a seasoned powerlifter, this is your chance to step onto the platform, push your limits, and celebrate your power!

Hosted by Nightmare Muscle Santa Cruz, this event offers a supportive and high-energy environment where lifters of all backgrounds can come together to compete, connect, and inspire.

⏰ Schedule:

• 8:30 AM – Lifters’ Meeting (Mandatory)
• 9:00 AM – Lifting Begins

Weigh-Ins (For Scoring Purposes Only):

• Friday, March 14: 10 AM – 11 AM OR 5 PM – 6 PM (by appointment)
• Saturday, March 15: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM (final weigh-in window)

Info: The deadlift portion of the competition is where raw power and determination take center stage. Each athlete has three attempts to pull their heaviest possible lift from the floor to a full, locked-out position.

The highest successful attempt is recorded and contributes to their final score. With the energy in the room at its peak, lifters will grind through their limits, battle gravity, and showcase their true strength. Whether it's a new personal record or an all-time best, every pull is a moment of triumph!
