The Iron Horse Trail is complete, and now the real journey begins—keeping it beautiful and well-maintained for all to enjoy. We’re forming a dedicated group of volunteers, the Friends of the Iron Horse Trail, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Join us on Wednesday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center to learn how you can get involved. We’re looking for hands-on helpers—those who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and being “worker bees” to support the trail’s upkeep. This isn’t about attending endless meetings; it’s about making a tangible difference in our community.
