Info: The Irish Women Lawyers Association is a voluntary association of women in law in Ireland. The AGM takes place annually in July. This meeting is open to all current members of IWLA. Those wishing to attend who are not already members may sign up as members in order to attend and participate. At the AGM the incoming year's Committee will be elected. Applicants for Committee positions must be proposed and seconded by an existing IWLA member. At the AGM Motions may be presented by any IWLA member, seconded by another IWLA member.

Info: Sally Hayden is an award-winning journalist, and bestselling author whose reporting on migration, conflict and human rights has appeared in lThe New York Times, The Guardian, BBC, CNN International, TIME and the Financial Times. Sally has reported from more than 35 countries across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, bringing global attention to some of the world's most pressing humanitarian crises. Sally is Adjunct Professor at UCD Sutherland School of Law and has lectured at Princeton, New York University and Boston University. Her acclaimed first book, My Fourth Time, We Drowned: Seeking Refuge on the World's Deadliest Migration Route, won widespread international recognition and has been translated into multiple languages. Her second book, This Is Also a Love Story, was published in 2026. Sally offers powerful first-hand insights into global migration, conflict reporting, international law and the human stories behind the headlines.
