Irish Whiskey School - A tasting event to celebrate St. Paddy's day

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day and Whistle Pig University is a tradition at Whistle Pig T-Gap, and we are pleased to announce Irish Whiskey School on Wednesday, March 25, at 6 PM.

We sample 6 fine Irish Whiskies with instructor Brad Beck back at the helm. This school promises to provide a good time mixed with some learning.

Join us for great food, traditional Irish toasts, good friends, and if you're lucky, the occasional dirty limerick; another Whistle Pig Tradition.

When the class bell rings in, Professor Brad will take us on a tasting and educational journey to explore Irish Whiskies from distilleries all over Ireland. We are keeping the specific selections to ourselves, as well as some nice flashback tastings, but the evening will include a sampling of 6 Irish Whiskeys, 2 additional surprise tasters, and more.

Join us at 6 PM for a dinner of traditional Irish Beef Stew and soda bread (No Vegan or gluten-free options available this time, sorry friends). Pair this with one of our Irish or English beers or cocktails, or choose a zero-proof option. This rich and flavorful meal will bring the most out of the whiskeys and open your palate up for a true tasting experience!

At 6:30, class begins with a traditional Irish toast and a shot of Irish Whiskey, followed by our first limrick of the night.

Seating is assigned at shared tables. Tickets are just $40 each, and as usual, we are committed to over-the-top value and surprise.

This is our first school since the Irish Whiskey School 2025, and we are very excited to kick off University season. If you have been to a Whistle Pig school, you know it will be amazing and fun!
