Do you like Irish Set dancing, or fancy giving it a try? If so, come and join us for a dance.
This is NOT to be confused with Irish Step dance, as in "Riverdance". Irish Set dances are always in a square formation of 4 couples.
Never danced these before? - Here’s an example from the Kavaneg Set -

Ignore the stepping, we do a simpler version.
New dancers (over 16s only) are always welcome, beginners or more experienced dancers alike, no partner necessary.
All dances are “walked through” first and then called during the dance (to recorded music) – so no need to worry about memorising the steps.
Come early at 14:00 for those who have never done Irish Set dancing before (or recently) and would like a quick guide or refresher!
Please bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks - biscuits are provided!
We're a regular dance club - usually meeting on the 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month.
Cost: £3 per person per session.
