This workshop is fully Outdoors.

Except, in specific instances such as rain / drizzle, it will be partially indoors or rescheduled. Meeting location will be in Union Square Park or the Highline (at 14th street).

iPhoneography.

This workshop is to understand and learn your Phone's camera functions and settings.

Learn how to maximize the potential of your phone's camera and what you can do with some of its most popular photo settings, such as night photography, exposure compensation, portrait mode, filters and beyond.

Workshop will cover the essential camera settings, shooting tricks, low light and blurry images, common shooting settings, filters, trending accessories, props and tricks you didn't know you already had. Shooting practice will include a tool box of camera techniques that will improve your photography instantly.

You will learn how to effectively work around some of its limitations and increase your phone's camera potential! You will be amazed (and so will your friends!). Don't wait any longer phones are getting better and smarter!

Requirements: Smartphone.

** Please note: this single day workshop focuses specifically on the phone's camera settings - It will not cover general photography topics, such as Lighting, Portrait, Composition, Street Photo.

For general photography please refer to the corresponding course such as Digital Camera - A beginner's guide, equivalent course- iPhone cameras are allowed in all beginner courses. For learning video, or special effects, filtering and beyond, please refer to the Social media sessions.
