IPE Fiesta 2026 is the departmental event of the Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), BUET, organized to bring together students, faculty members, alumni, and industry professionals on a common platform. The event aims to create an engaging environment that promotes learning, creativity, professional development, and collaboration.
The fiesta includes a range of interactive and recreational activities such as Flash Mob and Treasure Hunt, designed to energize the campus and provide participants with a refreshing break from academic routines.
To encourage creativity and intellectual engagement, IPE Fiesta 2026 will feature several competitions, including Poster Competition, Case Competition, CAD Competition, and Excel Competition. These events will allow participants to demonstrate problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, technical expertise, and design proficiency by addressing real-world and industry-relevant challenges.
The event also focuses on career development through Corporate Connect, which facilitates direct interaction between students and industry professionals, enabling knowledge sharing and networking opportunities. In addition, Career Seminar sessions will be conducted to provide guidance on career planning, industry expectations, and future opportunities.
A specially curated Fiesta Magazine will showcase creative works, ideas, and insights from students and contributors, reflecting the innovative spirit of the IPE community.
