Title: Tuning Protocols for Analyzing Student Work

This program introduces the participant to brief descriptions of a number of protocols developed and used by the teacher in a collaborative team to look at student work. A protocol consists of agreed upon guidelines for a conversation and it is the existence of this structure -- which everyone understands and has agreed to -- that permits a certain kind of conversation to occur. Looking at student work is a vehicle for building the skills and culture necessary for collaborative work while driving improvement of teaching and learning.
