Come out to Altoona for the finale of the Iowa cross season! The Iowa State Cyclocross Championships will be held at Lion's Park in Altoona, Iowa presented by Zealous Racing. Come out and compete to be crowned the State Champion!
REGISTRATION: PRE-REGISTRATION -- Pre-registration will be $35 ($10 saving compared to race day registration)PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH AT 5:30 PM CST. Riders will receive $25 off their second race registration the same day.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION -- Registration opens at 8:30 AM and closes 15 minutes prior to each race. Race day registration will be $45 for all riders (except JUNIOR CATEGORIES which will still be Free). Riders will receive $25 off their second race registration the same day. DAY OF REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN will be held in the building by the Finish line.
STAGING -- Staging will start with pre-registered riders in order by USA Cycling points as of December 4th. Then by same-day registered riders in the order of their registration. Each time-slot will be staged as a single group with no gaps for medal categories.
MEDALS -- State medals will be awarded to the top three ANNUALLY IOWA LICENSED RIDERS in each of the following categories: Junior Girls/Boys 9-12, 13-14, 15-18. Senior Men/Women in the following categories: Masters 35-44, Masters 45-54, Masters 55-64, Masters 65+, Category 4/5, Category 3, Category 1/2. Podium pictures will take place immediately after race concludes pending no protests. Payouts will be for combined fields overall winners. State of Iowa category winners will have the option to have pictures taken in an Iowa State Championship jersey which can be purchased at additional cost to rider.
