The Ionia Free Fair 5K starts at 6:30 PM on Thursday, July 16th, right on Ioniaâs iconic red brick Main Street. From there, youâll run a course that connects some of the best features our community has to offerâflowing through Steele Street, the Fred Thwaites River Trail, the fairgrounds, and the Fred Meijer River Trail before finishing back downtown.
This is more than just a raceâitâs the official start to one of the biggest nights of the year in Ionia. Whether you're chasing a PR, running with friends, or bringing the family, this event delivers a high-energy, one-of-a-kind experience.
