Are you tired of sitting in polite silence in your living room? Get out of the house and join Spilled Ink Staged Readings at Camel City Playhouse for the debut installment of our newest comedy series, inX!
Join us on May 23rd at 7:00 PM for an evening of live comedy where you actually have to look at the performers and laugh. The performers are there to help you with the laughter part, but really its only polite to feed their egos. This month, we're featuring the comedic stylings of The Rabbit Brothers and Screwup TV. We promise they are (slightly) more professional than a drunk uncle at a wedding, and at just $10 a ticket, they are definitely less expensive than what you'd have to recompense the venue for the damage that drunk uncle caused (I'm looking at you Uncle David... you're not invited to my next wedding!)
What You Can Expect:
- Two hilarious groups bringing you their absolute best sketch material.
- Multimedia video interludes, which are mostly just a great way to hide the fact that the performers are frantically changing costumes behind a curtain.*
- Absolutely NO pyrotechnics—we rent our theatre space and we’d really like to keep our security deposit. Or at least stay out of jail.
*We don't promise to provide multimedia video interlude - in fact we don't promise to provide costumes - but you can expect it. Just don't be disappointed if your expectations fall short. We're on a budget and we'll see what's left over after the comedy is in place.
