Invoking the Goddess An evening of kirtan devoted to awakening the divine feminine within.
Join Abby Spotskey, Laura Lalita Harness, and Teya for a heart-opening gathering of sacred mantra and song.
Through the chanting of ancient mantras, we invoke the presence of the Divine Mother—nurturing strength, inner peace, balance, resilience, love, and creative flow.
The addition of the harp brings a unique, ethereal texture to the music, creating a deeply soothing and expansive soundscape.
An evening of kirtan devoted to awakening the divine feminine within.
Through the chanting of sacred mantras, we gather in community to invoke the presence of the Divine Mother—nurturing strength, inner peace, balance, resilience, love, and creative flow. No experience is needed—just a willingness to listen, chant, and open your heart.
Come as you are and allow yourself to be held, uplifted, and renewed in the power of shared voice and sacred sound.
Abby Spotskey has been expanding her heart through the practices of yoga for over 30 years. A certified E-RYT500 yoga teacher, she has helped numerous people to up-level their lives by connecting to their bodies with breath and movement. Over the past several years, she has recognized the devotional path of Bhakti and its role in her life experience. Chanting is one of the sacred expressions of Bhakti and is so beneficial for the heart and mind. Her first formal endeavor was singing with Threshold Choir International. Supporting people at various thresholds; death, birth, life celebrations, with just the beauty of the voice, she witnessed first hand the power of song.
Abby leads monthly kirtans with her band Journey Om in Flagstaff and is thrilled to collaborate with Laura Lalita Harness and Teya with Shatki Ma. Offering devotional music through the co-creation of kirtan is one of her biggest joys. You can find her offerings of music, workshops and yoga classes under her name at http://www.humanitix.com/

Laura has a deep reverence for the Goddess in all Her forms and the power of the divine feminine to heal and balance life on Mother Earth. It's her honor and joy to share the bliss and healing power of Shakti Ma kirtan!
Teya is a kirtan singer, fourth-generation classically trained pianist, and former professional ballet dancer. After training at the School of American Ballet in New York City and performing internationally with San Francisco Ballet and Miami City Ballet, she followed a deeper calling into sacred music and devotional practice.
Mantra became a profound anchor of peace in her own life, expanding her capacity to serve with presence, steadiness, and an open heart. Teya experiences kirtan as a co-creative offering — a shared space where voices blend, hearts soften, and community is woven through sound. It is her joy and honor to hold this sacred container for collective healing and connection.
