About this Event
What if your garden could do more than just look beautiful? What if it could buzz, bloom, and become part of a thriving ecosystem?
As part of Sustainable House Day, join us for this free, inspiring session and discover how your garden can play a powerful role in supporting local wildlife and reconnecting our landscapes.
Many of us are already making sustainable choices at home - saving energy, reducing waste, conserving water. But your garden holds just as much potential. With a few thoughtful changes, it can become a vibrant, low-impact haven for birds, bees, frogs, and more.
In this session, you’ll learn how to:
🌱 Create a garden that works with nature, not against it
💧 Use features like raingardens, swales, and frog bogs to manage and conserve water
🦋 Attract and support local wildlife with native plants and layered habitats
🌼 Understand plant–wildlife relationships and bring your garden to life
Whether you’re starting from scratch or enhancing an existing space, you’ll leave with practical ideas, fresh inspiration, and the confidence to create a garden that’s good for you - and great for the planet.
Date & Time: Saturday 23 May,10:30 am -12 noon
