INVITATION TO ATTEND THE LAUNCH OF OUR MEMBER RESOURCE AREAS

We want to share a brief update on our recent activity at Humber Marine & Renewables, alongside an invitation to get involved in our next member event.

Over recent months, we have been focussing on strengthening the foundations that create meaningful opportunity for our members and for the Humber more widely — building relationships with developers, ports, government and delivery partners, and ensuring we are better positioned to connect regional capability into live and emerging opportunities. Alongside this, we’ve been reshaping how we engage with members and developing new resources to support collaboration, visibility and advocacy.

As part of this next phase, we are pleased to confirm that we will be launching our new Member Resource Areas at a breakfast event hosted by Grimsby Town Football Club at Blundell Park on Wednesday 11 March, 8.00–10.00 AM.

Dave Dawson (stake holder manager for HMR) recently spent time at Blundell Park, the club’s relatively new ownership is clearly driving momentum not only on the pitch, but in terms of community leadership, societal benefit and an improved fan experience. With growing crowds, notable cup success and a real sense of optimism, Grimsby Town FC is an excellent example of ambition, resilience and place-based leadership — making it a fitting host for this next stage of our member engagement.

The launch event itself will provide an overview of:

• Our new Member Resource Areas and how they support access to insight, opportunity and collaboration
• Our evolving engagement programme and upcoming events calendar
• Introductions to some of our new members
• Request for information to help drive meaningful engagement

Engaging with these events — and with one another — is increasingly important as opportunities accelerate across the region. We are also actively engaging with North Yorkshire businesses to strengthen reach, connectivity and collaboration beyond the Humber, ensuring our members are well-positioned within a wider regional ecosystem.

We strongly encourage you, and as many colleagues as possible, to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to connect, share capability and shape how we work together going forward.
