Join us for Invisible Barriers: Discrimination & Disability in Housing, a powerful art exhibit exploring the realities of housing discrimination, particularly for individuals with disabilities. Through thought-provoking artwork, this exhibition sheds light on the challenges many face in securing accessible, equitable housing.
Did you know that fewer than 5% of rental units in the U.S. are accessible to people with moderate mobility difficulties—and less than 1% are wheelchair accessible? Housing and health are deeply connected, and for people with disabilities, finding a safe, suitable home often means overcoming systemic barriers.
This exhibit aims to inspire change and spark conversations about fair housing rights, accessibility, and the urgent need for inclusive housing policies.
