About this Event
Investing in the Next Generation: A Side Event at SOCAP 2026
As the global development funding landscape shifts, this gathering will explore how blended finance and child-lens investing can drive holistic and measurable outcomes for children in underserved communities. The evening centers on the Generation Empowerment Fund (GenEm Fund), a blended finance facility managed by Save the Children Global Ventures in partnership with IDP Foundation and Global Schools Forum. The Fund deploys catalytic capital to local financial institutions serving affordable non-state schools across Sub-Saharan Africa, pairing access to finance with learning and other outcome incentives to ensure capital flows not just to schools, but to better education, health and resilience.
Join us to learn, connect, and explore how innovative finance can serve as a lever for generational change.
