About this Event

MATTER, with the support of EVERSANA INTOUCH, is producing AI in Commercial Pharma, a four-part series exploring how commercial pharma teams are prioritizing AI use cases, evaluating solutions and moving from pilots to production.

The second event in the series will feature a panel discussion with pharma brand, commercial, market access and analytics leaders to discuss their approaches to AI: where they are finding value, how they are evaluating solutions, what they are building versus buying and what they see as the most significant barriers to adoption.

About Faruk Capan

Faruk Capan is the founder of EVERSANA INTOUCH and chief innovation officer of EVERSANA. About Thomas Gibbs

Tom Gibbs joined Lundbeck in February 2023 with more than 25 years of diverse corporate, general management and commercial leadership experience, including roles in executive management, marketing, sales, commercial operations, customer insights and analytics and finance at small, mid-size and large pharmaceutical companies.

Prior to Lundbeck, Tom served as chief executive officer and global business leader of Vectura Inc. Prior to his role at Vectura Inc., Tom held several chief commercial officer roles, developing commercial strategy and overseeing execution for U.S., Canadian and European markets at pharmaceutical companies with strong central nervous system (CNS) franchises, including a role as chief commercial officer at Sunovion. He has also served as head of general medicines in the U.S. for Takeda.

Tom holds a BS in economics with a dual concentration in finance and marketing and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

About Jared Josleyn

Jared Josleyn is Sanofi's senior vice president and global head of E.D.G.E. (Emerging Disruptive Growth Exploration), where he leads Project Saturn — a federated health data infrastructure platform that activates the full support network around people through relationship-powered care coordination while enabling privacy-preserving AI.

At Sanofi, he is responsible for developing and delivering breakthrough technologies and care solutions that improve the lives of people and their loved ones through both internal creation and external partnership, with current focus on federated machine learning for early disease detection, AI-enabled screening and building the infrastructure for a new health economy where people and communities benefit from — rather than lose control of — their health data.

Prior to joining Sanofi, Jared served as vice president of innovation and chief product and experience officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), where he founded and launched Walgreens Health. Before joining WBA, he held leadership positions at Alphabet across Google Health, Google Life Sciences and Verily.
