Investigation Interview Training

The team at Children First CMSS is excited to introduce our new Investigation Interview Training, designed to support those involved in interviewing as part of concerns and disciplinary procedures.

This interactive 3.5‑hour stand‑alone course gives participants the opportunity to take part in a realistic role‑play investigation scenario. Attendees will:

• Undertake a range of investigation roles
• Develop and conduct an interview from initial planning through to conclusion
• Build confidence and practical skills in a safe, supportive learning environment.

While it is recommended that participants have previously completed our Undertaking Investigations training, this is not a requirement, making the course accessible to a wide range of staff & volunteers.

This training is ideal for SGBs and those involved in the disciplinary processes looking to:

• Strengthen investigative interviewing skills
• Improve consistency and confidence in disciplinary processes
• Provide practical, hands‑on development for staff
