Join Elise Ferrer, RYT 200 for a mindful series of inversion workshops. Learn about the benefits of an inversion practice and how to begin one without ever doing a handstand or a headstand! Instruction will be provided on poses, anatomy, and preparation for poses ranging from simple to advanced. Each session will begin with a series of warm ups for the core and shoulders, move into that week’s focus and end with a meditation on the third eye and/or crown chakras.
Class size is limited to six students so adequate time can be given to everyone on their inversion journey. Each session builds upon the previous so feel free to attend all three or jump in where you feel most comfortable.
Week 1: Beginner- September 15th- The focus will be on core engagement for inversions and will include instruction on poses like downward facing dog, forward fold, bridge, simple shoulder stand, and waterfall.
Week 2: Intermediate- September 29th- The second session will begin with more intense core and shoulder work. Poses will include half downward facing dog, dolphin, forearm balance variations, and other fun inversions.
Week 3: Advanced- October 13th- Building upon the previous two sessions, the final class will revisit prior poses and include poses like wheel and handstand variations.
The investment for this series is $90 for all three sessions or $35 per session if purchased individually.
