Adventure + conservation = a great weekend!Join us for an Invasive Species Blitz at Jacob’ Well Natural Area! The Native Plant Society is kicking off two initiatives this year for National Invasive Species Awareness Week, and we want your help.
Come by Jacob's Well Natural Area on Saturday, January 24th from 11am-1pm as we team up to spot and map invasive species. We'll meet at the shade pavilion near Parking Lot C.
Bring your phone! We’ll use the iNaturalist app to photograph and upload our observations. Whether you stay with the group or wander the trails on your own, every observation helps us get a better understanding of the landscape.
That’s not all... stay tuned for the Great Pull in February when we return to remove invasive plants and seed bare areas for restoration.
