About this Event

Groundwork are looking for local volunteers to keep a watchful eye on the River Colne in Watford and report any problems you might see while you're walking along the river.
For this session we will be using INNS Mapper, a publicly accessible mapping app for recording Invasive Species.
This will be a short evening walk along the river to get comfortable with using the app, and some real-work experience identifying invasive species in the wild - we will be targeting Himalayan Balsam at this site.
The app can be downloaded before the walk - INNS Mapper

For more information on the River Champions Project please see the River Colne Watford website- Home | Rediscovering River Colne

We will meet at the Watford Rugby Club on Radlett Road.
