Invasive Plant Removal Workshop

Join us for another invasive plant removal workshop this September 26th from 9 am to 1 pm at a local property in the South Chickamauga Watershed. Those registered will receive directions to location. Lunch will be sponsored by the City of Chattanooga!

In this workshop we will be getting our hands dirty. Come prepared to learn and work outside. Participants will learn how to identify invasive plant species, removal techniques, and the importance of removing invasive plants in our ecosystems!

Waterways will have gloves and tools available, but feel free to bring your own gear! Gear such as loppers, gloves, handsaws, eye protection, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and hat are suggested. Don't forget your water bottle!
