About this Event

Please note that volunteers must be13 years or older

The Seminole Education, Restoration, and Volunteer (SERV) Program and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens* invite you to participate in a fun invasive plant removal project! Help to protect biodiversity and reduce the spread of harmful invasive species. Please plan to get muddy during the event. After the removal, volunteers can explore the Zoo for the day!

DATE/TIME: Wednesday, 3/18/26, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

KICK-OFF: Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, 3755 W Seminole Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771. Meet by the tortoise statue in the front of the Zoo, across from ticketing.

COST: Free!

ATTIRE: Closed toe shoes are required (e.g. boots, water shoes, old sneakers that can get wet). Old clothes and work gloves are recommended.

ADDITIONAL: Bring your own water to drink. Sun protection and bug protection may also be desired.

LIABILITY FORM: Please fill out both of the below waivers beforehand.
