Invasive Plant ID and Mapping Walk in the Alewife

Come join Green Cambridge for a guided invasive ID and mapping walk in the Alewife! 

We will be leading volunteers on an invasive ID walk around the Alewife and  instructing on how to record and map invasive plant populations using the Invasive Flora Patrol created by EarthWiseAware through the Anecdata app.

Invasive plant species are extremely prevalent in the Alewife and outcompete native biodiversity, thus disrupting many vital ecological systems within the Alewife. These events not only help spread awareness on this issue but also provide the foundation for invasive plant removal efforts.
