Join us for a soulful workshop led by Marion, inspired by the curiosity during her recent art opening at Groundfloor. Many guests asked, "How did you create these images? Did you have a vision first, or did you choose the images and let them guide you?" To answer these questions in a hands-on and engaging way, Marion has crafted a unique workshop to share her skills for creating intuitive mixed-media collage.
In this workshop, you will explore the art of creating from a place of intuition, rather than agenda. Marion will guide you through the basics of composition, color theory, image selection, and connecting with your inner creative flow. This workshop is designed for artists of all levels who wish to tap into their creativity and engage in a process of self-expression.

What to Expect:
The workshop will begin with a brief 10-minute meditation and introductions to help balance the mind and body, followed by a short movement exercise to restore the flow of creative energy. Marion will then lead a demonstration, discussing color theory, balance, and composition to help guide you in creating your collage.
You will have access to a selection of collage materials and paints, and are encouraged to bring magazines, scissors or personal images that resonate with you to incorporate into your artwork.
Following the first two hours of creating, we will take an hour-long lunch break where you can relax, reflect, socialize, or continue working on your project. After the break, you will dive into the second portion of the workshop where you will bring your collage to life, integrating your chosen images, glue, paint, and paper. Marion will offer guidance throughout the process, allowing you to explore your creativity freely and intuitively.
At the end of the day, we will come together in a sharing circle to discuss our creations. While the aesthetic aspects of the artwork will be acknowledged, the focus of our sharing will be on the meaning and emotional resonance behind each piece. This is a space for vulnerability, connection, and non-judgment, where your unique creative expression is valued above all.
