Introduction to Wire Working for Jewelry Making with Lisa Van Herik

Come and get familiar with all the many types of wire and the few tools you’ll need to eventually become a successful wire jewelry artist. Or simply come and learn how to make wire jewelry for yourself and your friends.

Whatever your goal, you’ll learn all you need to know to get started in this fast-paced and exciting workshop. We’ll review all types of wire and how they’re used along with learning how to use the tools needed to transform your wire into wearable jewelry.

After learning about the basic supplies needed, we’ll transition into making simple earrings, a bead cage and different kinds of wire beads including the famous sugar cube bead!

Once you’re comfortable manipulating the wire, we’ll discuss more advanced wire weaving techniques with many examples and samples provided.

Come away with your own wire jewelry in hand plus the inspiration and knowledge to take your wire jewelry to the next level. All supplies provided.
