Paint a watercolor floral wreath with local artist Roxanne Steed at Bill Memorial Library on Saturday, July 6, at 1 PM. No experience is necessary. Materials will be provided. Registration is free, but program size is limited. Please call the library at 860-445-0392 or visit https://engagedpatrons.org/EventsRegister.cfm?SiteID=8328&EventID=530072 to register and for questions.Roxanne and her husband, Ron Steed, are co-authors of Focal Points in France: Artful Practices that Bring More Peace, which was inspired by their time as artists-in-residence at Chateau Orquevaux, France. The Steeds are part of the Connecticut Author Trail and will speak about their book at Bill Memorial Library on July 20 at 1 PM.
The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in the City of Groton, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold. The library turned 130 years old in 2020.
