Three-Part Spring Series with Ginger Solomon
(Join us for one or all three workshops on March 21st, April 4th and April 25th 12-3pm)
Prana is the subtle life force that animates us; yama is tuning, aligning, and guiding that energy with awareness. Together, pranayama is the ancient art of working skillfully with the breath—opening the doorway to clarity, steadiness, and expanded energy within the body and mind. As the fourth limb of Yoga Philosophy, pranayama has the power to shift our inner state, refine the nervous system, and carry us toward deeper wisdom and presence.
In this immersive three-part series, Ayurvedic Practitioner Ginger Solomon will guide you through the foundations of pranayama, blending traditional Himalayan Yoga–Vedantic teachings with modern understanding. You will explore the anatomy of prana, the muscles of breathing, and the common patterns that inhibit easeful respiration. Each session includes practical instruction, experiential learning, and time to integrate the practices into your own rhythm.
Students and teachers alike will gain confidence with a variety of essential pranayama techniques—some familiar, some rarely taught in depth—including:
- Cosmic Breaths 1–3
- Ujjayi
- Three-Part & Four-Part Breath
- 3-9-6 Breathing
- Alom Vilom
- Bhramari
- Prakasha: Breath of Light
- Kapal Bhati
- Nadi Shodhana
- Spinal Breath
By the end of the series, you will have a grounded understanding of how these practices support physical vitality, emotional balance, and spiritual expansion.
Dates:
Sat, March 21, 2026 12-3pm
Sat, April 04, 2026 12-3pm
Sat, April 25, 2026 12-3pm
(join us for one or all)
Cost: $75 per session or $200 for the full 3-part series
Note for yoga teachers: Hours for this workshop can be counted towards continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance.
