We're planning an informal introduction/training night for anyone who's interested in getting into targa rallying but isn't sure where to start or what's involved.
We're holding an evening session for anyone who hasn't attended or done a targa rally before but is interested in learning more about the sport. It's aimed at absolute beginners and we'll be covering topics such as:
- Types of targa rallies.
- Navigation techniques and test diagrams.
- Car and equipment requirements.
- Time cards and other documentation.
Hopefully you'll leave with an understanding of how these events work, what events are on over the coming months locally and how to enter a rally and prepare your car. We'll have a few experienced competitors, marshals and organisers on hand to answer any of your questions.
Places are limited so if you want to come along please message us so we can put a training pack together for you for the night.
And don't worry, you don't have to be a member of the club, the session is open to anyone who's interested. If there's enough interest we may run a second session!
