Introduction to Stained Glass: Dragon Fly

Join us to learn the basics of the Stained Glass process while putting together your very own Glass Window Hanging!
About this Event

With this workshop you will have a chance to learn about the basics of building stained glass by putting together a glass window or wall hanging. This class will focus on copper foiling, soldering and WIRE WORK! with no glass cutting. When you arrive your set of glass pieces will be cut and ready for you to assemble. Then we will all begin foiling together. You will use specialized tools to solder with very high temperatures. All materials are included, this is a beginner workshop.

This workshop is simple enough for beginners, and a good intro for anyone without glass experience. The session will involve educating you on all the steps, using the tools, and assembling your piece with all glass pieces already cut out.

While working, your instructor is happy to share all the best websites and shops to help guide you towards building your own stained glass studio. Come with questions if you’re looking to continue the glass journey, or show up just for the experience. No previous knowledge necessary.
