Take a step back in time and learn how to spin wool with fiber artist Reilly Grant of Clover Folk Studio.
This hands-on class will teach you about fiber arts from sheep to shawl, including the role that spinning has played in various chapters of United States history. Join us to learn how to prepare wool for spinning, watch a demonstration on a spinning wheel, and get the chance to try for yourself.
This workshop is for adults. No experience necessary, and all supplies and tools will be provided.
Note that while participants will engage in hands-on practice, they will not be creating a project to take home.
