Introduction to Spinning Wheels

Join us for a fun and casual Introduction to Spinning Wheels class. This session will provide an opportunity to "test drive" various spinning wheels. Each student will be given an opportunity to spin a sample and ply it on each of the three wheels provided. Discussion will include spinning wheel types, maintenence and trouble shooting. Additionally we will discuss creating different yarns, different drafting and plying tecniques. We'll meet on June 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM-3:00PM (Eastern Time). No experience needed. If you've ever wanted to try spinning yarn on a spinning wheel, here is your chance!
