Introduction to German with Heidi LaurilaTuesdays, February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24: 9:30-11 am
This class is designed for adults new to the German language. We will cover fundamental vocabulary, basic grammatical concepts, and cultural topics. We will explore the language and culture through a variety of formats, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening- all in a relaxed and accessible setting! Participants should bring a note pad, pocket folder and pen/pencil.
Meet Your Instructor: Heidi Laurila is a licensed K-9 educator with 8+ years of experience working in education. She studied Spanish as an undergraduate at Northwestern University, including a semester abroad in Sevilla. She also speaks German and has lived and worked in Berlin and western Germany. She and her husband, Jay, have three young daughters who they are raising in Cedarburg...with a healthy dose of travel mixed in! She is passionate about sharing her love of languages with others.
