National Sewing Month is celebrated every September to honor the art of sewing, an important form of self-expression and creativity. Sewing can be fun and rewarding but the back of sewing patterns can seem like another language. If you are interested in learning the basics of a sewing pattern, join us for this free workshop where we will have a selection of patterns of varying skill levels as well as examples of fabrics and notions. Fun fact: Studies show sewing can reduce stress and improve fine motor skills!
