Introduction to Serigraphy
About this Event
Learn the fundamentals of screen printing in a welcoming, hands-on studio environment. This six-week course introduces students to the complete screen printing process using accessible stencil-based techniques. Students will explore hand-cut paper stencils, drawing fluid and screen filler, image development, screen preparation, registration, color mixing, layering, and edition printing while producing their own original prints.
Designed for beginners and artists of all backgrounds, this course emphasizes both technical skill and creative exploration. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual projects, participants will gain confidence working in a community print studio while developing a strong foundation for more advanced screen printing techniques. No previous experience is required.
