About this Event
Who is this training for?: Paid members of staff or volunteers for organisations working with vulnerable adults, who need an introduction to safeguarding or refresher training. NB: It is advised that safeguarding training is updated every 3 years.
This training will give you a basic understanding of the roles and responsibilities in safeguarding adults and how to respond to concerns.
Please arrive at 9:00 for registration.
What will I learn from this training?:
- The nature of abuse in relation to adults and how to recognise it
- Where and how to report concerns
- Where to get further information and advice

You will receive a certificate of participation for each completed training session. Please note: we may not be able to issue certificates if participants arrive late or leave before the end of the session.
