Learn how to create unique rugs and wall hangings in this beginner friendly hand tufting class. With help from the instructor, you will prep your tufting fabric, design your own wall hanging, and embroider your design using a punch needle. All participants will receive a punch needle so they can practice this craft at home. Register for the class using the Google Form.
Instructor Bio:
Athena Buxton is a local arts educator, fiber artist, sewist, and lover of all things craft. After earning a Master of Arts in Art History and Museum Education, Athena dedicated her career to teaching both children and adults about visual art. When she isn't teaching, Athena can usually be found at her sewing machine starting another project.
