What You Will Learn

• The Gear Bag: A breakdown of essential equipment, including wide-angle lenses, tripod heads, and lighting options.

• Shooting Techniques: Best practices for composition, camera heights, and handling difficult mixed-lighting situations (e.g., balancing bright windows with dark interiors).

• MLS Standards: Understanding the rules and technical requirements for the Multiple Listing Service to ensure your work is compliant and displays correctly.

• Post-Processing Demo: Brian will edit images live using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, demonstrating the "before and after" transformation and showing you how to polish your final deliverables.

• What to Bring: No camera gear is required. Just bring a notebook and pen, tablet or laptop to take notes. There is a lot of information to cover!

Brian Leary was initially exposed to photography while spending time with his father in a color darkroom, and began developing his own photographic interests when he moved to the Pacific Northwest as an adult. Brian has pursued his unique style and talent for photography over the past twenty-plus years in the industry. Today, he still uses the same methods with digital photography that he would have on film.
What sets Brian apart is not only his work as a photographer but his passion to share his knowledge of the art form with others. He has a unique talent for breaking down complex subjects and communicating techniques that not only make sense but stick in practice! Brian Leary founded in 2013 and now runs individualized tutoring workshop sessions that address each photographer’s specific needs and pain points. Brian focuses one-on-one attention so that his clients learn specific abilities to turn their photography aspirations into a reality.
