Introduction:
Neutral Wireless are pleased to present our pragmatic and 5G jargon-busting Private 5G Networks short course. In this course we will explore the real tech behind the 5G 'acronym soup' of ORAN, MIMO, OFDM, NSA, SA, uRLLC ... and ensure attendees understand key differences between Public 5G (as operated nationally by Mobile Network Operators) and Private 5G (anyone!). By the conclusion of the course, you will know the technology, capability, and incredible potential for private 5G in many emerging use cases.
Pragmatic, Hands-On, and End to End:
The course will feature private 5G solution design and operation from first principles, and present on key strategies and methods of creating a live 5G networks. This includes the ingredients of: securing (shared) licensed spectrum access, RF planning, 5G radio deployment, power & backhaul management, designing of use cases, and ensuring low power and safe networks with no RF interference to 'neighbours'. Private 5G is now moving at pace across many applications. This course will feature the Neutral Wireless 5G solution, live connections, and full core and OS control. So get ready, get your 5G radio, define your use case and just add spectrum!
Whats the format? The course will feature presentations, live build and demonstrations of private 5G using various handsets, UEs, cameras/coders and modems. A full set of printed materials will be given, along with access to various media and online components. We expect a wide range of engineers, managers, and production attendees, and as well as lunch on both days, we think there will be good networking also!
