Classes run August 3rd- September 14th
Discover the fundamentals of contemporary printmaking in a welcoming, hands-on studio environment. This eight-week course introduces students to a variety of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes, including relief printing, monotype, drypoint etching, and screen printing. Along the way, students will learn studio safety, printing techniques, paper selection, ink handling, registration, and editioning while developing their own original artwork.
Designed for beginners and artists of all backgrounds, this course provides a strong foundation in printmaking while encouraging experimentation, creativity, and personal expression. No previous printmaking experience is required. All participants will leave with a portfolio of original prints and the knowledge to continue working independently in the studio.
