Hand lettering is becoming a skill of the past, with technology replacing the good ol' pen. This 3 hour workshop aims to take you away from your computer, slow down and indulge in a new skill- we will explore writing with old school ink and nib AND brushpens (like a flexible texta).
You'll be introduced to my style of calligraphy, from holding the pen, basic strokes and letters, with demos and hands on help, all with a cuppa, snacks and a glass of bubbly in hand.
If you're after a technical calligraphy lesson, you've come to the wrong place! We are all about creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind and just give it a go!!
Includes over $50 worth of materials so you can continue at home, making your envelopes and cards super fancy, jazzing up your journal entries or just writing a shopping list that will knock your socks off.
It's not writing, it's shapes put together in a way to create beautiful letters and words... to create art. Do you need neat handwriting??? NO.... you should see mine...yikes!
Calligraphy is a whole new way to think about words.
