Located in the Pump House at Mount Saint Francis, together we’ll explore:• A brief history of the pastel medium
• Fundamental techniques: blending, layering, and building texture
• Tips for working with color and composition
• Step-by-step guidance to complete a piece you’ll be proud of
All supplies will be provided—just bring your curiosity and creative energy! Pastels can be powdery, so please wear clothing suitable for a little artistic mess. Expect surprises, plenty of time for questions, and an encouraging atmosphere where you can grow as an artist.
