Registration is required and attendance is limited. Registration link will be posted on Friends of Maybury website approximately three weeks prior to the event. Friends of Maybury members receive advance sign-up notice.Are you interested in keeping a nature journal? Journaling about nature is a fun and creative way to slow down, focus, and improve observational skills. Your journal can include writing, drawing, mapping, and listing the details of everyday nature that you notice.
Join us for a 'how-to' session as we cover the basics and spend some time in nature. Participants will create a small take-home journal. Basic supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
This program is designed for adults and teens. We will meet in the Walnut Shelter, accessible from the 8 Mile entrance to the park. Program will be held rain or shine.
