Explore the basics of mosaic art in this beginner-friendly class.
This class is an introduce the wide and colorful world of mosaics to create a personal art work for your pleasure. You will learn about the supplies needed, how to measure, as well as guess-to-mate the tools and treasures of the trade. Each student will take home a completed piece of art. We’ll discuss different types of tiles, adhesives, and grout, as well as techniques for adhering mosaics to wooden surfaces. Basic math concepts will be used to help with layout and spacing, making this an engaging introduction to a new creative medium.
July 18th will be creating your Mosaic and adhesing it to your piece.
July 19th will be completing the grouting process
