About this Event
Our minds are often busy with thoughts of things that have happened in the past or things that may happen in the future. Mindfulness asks us to take break and observe our thoughts, focusing on the present moment.
Join mindfulness teacher Melanie Sinclair for gentle meditation aimed at giving you a taste of the practice of mindful meditation. This is a course for everyone, including those who may have tried mindfulness in the past and those new to the practice.
All are very welcome to attend and Melanie is a skilled and experienced practitioner, but if you are currently receiving treatment for any mental health problems it may be advisable to speak to the person providing you with support for advice on whether a short mindfulness course will complement other medical or psychological interventions.
